Vacation 2007 - Day 6

September 27

Toured the Tower of London. Did not take enough pictures, have none of our Beefeater tour quide.

Tools used to separate a head from a body back in the day.

Lots of guns

Five of the 500+ steps to the top of St Paul's Cathedral. The one place cameras are allowed in St. Paul's.

The view, after huffing, puffing and resting and repeating till there, from the Top of St. Paul's.

Traffic is not too heavy on Ludgate Hill for 13:54 on a Thursday.

Busy construction site.

328 year old graffiti in the down stairwell.

Old style double decker bus which we took to Churchill war bunker/museum.

Bad news is it is 18:05 and the escalators are full. Good news is that they are escalators and not stairs.

Waiting for a train. Now you know why they call it the Tube.

The cars are hot, noisy (steel wheels on steel track = blackboard screeching) and they sway a lot.

McD's, BK, KFC, Subway & Pizza Hut are a dime a dozen.
