June 15

The Crawdads were playing the Marlins in a semifinal game of the 9U Cal Ripken Spring 2007 League.

Carson warming up.

Waiting for his turn to bat.

This was Carson's night at the plate, out on a called strike the first time and struck out swinging the second time. Walked on his third at bat.

By now the game was "over" Crawdads up 10-2. The first Marlin's batter hit a double on the second pitch. The Marlin's manager promptly had him steal third where he was thrown out by 2 ft. The Marlin's would threaten once more when they scored their second run. With runners on first & second with one out there was another attempt to steal third and this time the runner was thrown out by 3 ft.
