Sunday Dinner 10/06

Invited myself over for Sunday dinner since Nicki’s birthday was the pervious day. (If you must know she's the same age as my sister.) Was told to take a picture of the cake, like I needed any encouragement. They swear it was normal when they went to bed last night but this morning it looked like this. Ma was glad there was a cooking sheet under the cake. Even the clothespin leveler couldn’t keep the cake from melting. Thought about making jokes about the cake wanting to look the age of the birthday girl but held my tongue.

Dinner menu was pea salad, chicken & dumplings, sweat potatoes & bread. I had chicken & dumplings, bread & a teaspoon of pea salad.

The candle was slightly more upright then the cake. Maya & Reagyn needed help from M'Lyn to blow the candle out.

For some reason I didn't feel any pangs of jealousy over the gifts Nicki received.

The cake tasted better then it looked. Marshmallow frosting with a pineapple filling between the layers.

Don't look craftspersons at work.

Finally have a full crew, the supervisors arrived.
