May 13 16: Finally getting around to starting the trip report, nothing like semi-instant blogging.
After resting 6.5 hours in my rented Birmingham, AL bed it was on the road again. From Shreveport on it rained on and off, didn’t rain hard but drove 1244 miles thru seven states on wet roads.
Little after 21:00 (and 1464 miles & 1290 minutes of driving) I stopped in Exmore, VA for the first time, where it was story hour. The girls were reading Fancy Nancy...
...and the boys were reading Pirates Past Noon.

Open Google Earth
Click File > Open
Paste the following address into the File Name box
