Hyde Park vs Dallas Parish Episcopal

Attended my first Texas high school football game, about time. Hyde Park traveled to Dallas to play Parish Episcopal which meant it was only a 10 mile drive to see Taylor cheer Hyde Park to victory or not.

Was just a little surprised to see the twins. Turns out Caren's nephew plays for Hyde Park.

Caren's nephew Kally (#20) had the feet and Taylor's boyfriend JD (#10) had his helmet on the ball. Both Kally & JD played both ways due to lack of players on Hyde Park's team.

There's just a little bit of "drama" on the Hyde Park cheer team. The coach spent the night in discussions with two of them and by the 4th quarter a full squad was cheering again. Alan provided the color commentary.

Caren wasn't chewing on her fingernails because the game tense. Hyde Park was only behind 33-0 at the half.

...and eluding two tacklers to score a touch down with no time on the clock. Hyde Park got the two point conversion to lose the game 36-14.

Just a guess, but I don't think this picture will be on the Christmas card.

Taylor and boyfriend. He is being recuited by D1 schools, one of the schools he has visited is Kansas.
