Favorite Niece Update XXIV

October 18

It had been a busy weekend. Uncle Andrew came home for Great Grandma Hibma's funeral on Saturday. Yesterday was cousin Levi's graduation reception. Today things were back to "normal" because I was going to school.

Aunt Alice reading me a story before school.

Filling my book bag.

Got to ride to school in the Hibma Estate Limo. Uncle Andrew told me not to tell mommy that he couldn't turn off the Hibma Estate Limo passenger airbag.

Making sure that uncle Andrew didn't get lost during the 3168' drive from Grandma's to school. He told me that 34 years ago one had walk to school if one lived within 2.5 miles of school.

Made it safety to school.

Eating supper with grandpa's sister Barbara on the back patio.

Dishing up dessert for aunt Alice.

Uncle Andrew was worried about being hit on the head by an errant golf ball.

Talked everyone into playing baseball. Thankfully grandpa's new pacemaker doesn't make him pitch any faster.

Aunt Barbara swinging for the fences. Now you know why she would get a pacemaker eight days later.

Uncle Andrew says my batting stance needs work...

...and to keep my eyes open. Told him not to worry, as long I keep playing against people with pacemakers I'll keep hitting inside the park home runs.

Aunt Alice was the only one brave enough to face my high heat.
